Encantada D (Adriatico x Taranta) is a 1990 speckled heterozygous gray PRE mare standing 15.2h and is approved for breeding by Spain.  Bred by the Denham Ranch, she arrived here as a yearling (part of our original foundation stock) and is our herd matriarch.  She competed successfully in driving along with performing "liberty" (leading) routines when young.  She is 1st generation from Spain and typical of Andalusian mares from that period.  She consistantly produces short coupled, athletic foals who excel in exhibiton and performance.  Three of her sons have become spotlighted performers: at Big Apple Circus, NY; Medieval Times, FL and most reknowned being Acierto G -trained and owned by Laura Amandis.  Her sire, Adriatico, contains Jardinero V (military sire), Nevado II and Jecomias (black military sire) in his lines.  Her dam, Taranta, contains Oyente - son of the original Maluso (one of the founders of the modern bay color line).   Though we have retired her from broodmare duties after producing 10 foals, she still keeps "order" within the herd and will remain here at the farm.  Dam of Nombrado G, Magno G.

Dentellada II (Codicioso-Mac x Giralda XII) is a 1999 speckled heterozygous gray PRE mare standing 15.3h and is approved for breeding by Spain.  I was enchanted the first time I saw her and gratefully thank Royal Horse Farms (FL) for allowing us to obtain her (she was not for sale so it took some persistence).  Dentellada was bred by Yeguada Centurian and imported directly from Spain.  Her pedigree is roughly 3/4 Miguel Angel De Cardenas breeding.  The blood of Vasallo II, Gastador VIII (Champion of Spain in 1985 and 1991) and Valido (Champion of Spain in 1975 and 1983) are recent in her pedigree.  Although never shown herself, she IS passing on these champion qualities. Her daughter, Bailadora RHF - bred and owned by Royal Horse Farms, during her young show career garnered 23 Champions, 2 times Absolute Champion of Movement, and a IALHA National Championship.  Dentellada continues to produce correct, exceptional moving offspring.  We anticipate that Maestro G and Nitida G will follow in these same footsteps.   Dam of Maestro G, Nitida G.

Diana SMDR (Amoroso IX x Sorpresa MD) is a 1998 homozygous gray PRE mare standing 15.3h and is approved for breeding by Spain. We were so impressed by this mare's movement and conformation, we had to purchase her from the reknown dressage breeding operation of Skelton Mtn Dream Ranch (in CO).  Diana is a wonderful mare, correct in conformation and a mover in her own right.  She produces larger than herself.  Several of her offspring have already been crowned "Champion" in the show arena (both conformation and movement).  Her sire was imported from Costa Rico, and contains such names as Gorron IV, Descarado II and Nevado III (Terry lines).  Her dam traces to a "who's who" of early American andalusian breeding, including Regaldo II (Benitez breeding).  It is no wonder that this mare produces such functional, well moving offspring.  Dam of Nacido G.

Alada IX (Favorito XXXII x Cenicienta) is a 1999 homozygous gray PRE mare standing 15.3h and is approved for breeding by Spain.  An international traveler, originally imported from Spain, she has "returned" to Texas after being in Canada for several years.  Alada is a wonderful mother and has produced several offspring.  Her pedigree contains

Nitida G (Macario de Teodoro x Dentellada II) is a 2007 rose gray (heterozygous) PRE mare approved for breeding by Spain in 2010.  We expect her to mature 15.3h.  Her dam is mentioned above, her sire is the 16+h bay son of Teodoro bred by Mariah Andalusians.  After having 7 colts in a row this filly has been lavished with attention from her birth!  Along with being naturally curious,  she is a "pocket pal" who loves interaction with people (i.e. spoiled).   We hope to use her as a riding horse once mature, with suitable training.   Afterwards we will add her to the "mare herd" for breeding purposes.
