ENCANTADA D - 1990 specked gray PRE mare (Adriatico x Taranta).  She is Cria Caballar approved for breeding and is the head herd mare.  She is 1st generation from Spain.  Encantada was trained in driving (single and pairs) with limited showing, and also did liberty leading routines prior to becoming a broodmare. She is a proven producer of short coupled performance horses (bays and grays) with some offspring having been spotlighted performers in venues such as Arabian Knights in FL, Big Apple Circus of NY and Medieval Times.  Encantada’s sire (Adriatico) was a son of Jardinero V (military sire) by Nevado III.  Adriatico was also a grandson of Jecomias, a black military sire.  Encantada’s dam, Taranta, was also the dam of Bravio (a well known bay).  Taranta was a daughter of Oyente, a son of the original, famous Maluso, one of the founders of the modern bay color lines

Jefa G – Gray 2003 PRE Approved mare (Certero 3/V x Encantada D).  Approved for breeding stock by Spain’s Cria Caballar. Sire is black, imported from Spain, bred by Centurion Farms, 16+h and competing in dressage.  Dam is speckled gray, 1st generation from Spain. Athletic, short coupled build, she is an excellent filly for riding, driving or breeding. Curious, she is always investigating the goings on around the farm. Expect to mature 15.2h.  Although a maiden, this filly carries color gene and should produce color.  She was started under saddle summer 2006, and ready to progress in her training.

Gloriosa G - 2000 gray PRE mare (Entendido XXIII x Gloriosa USA).  She is Cria Caballar approved for breeding, bred and raised here at Gloriosa Farms. Gloriosa G is a gentle, obedient, loving mare standing 15.3h.  She has straight performance oriented movement, exhibiting both elevation and suspension in her gaits. She was trained in driving and under saddle before becoming a broodmare.  Gold Medal Movement Award winner during 2002 IALHA Nationals, for PRE Fillies 2 & Under, awarded by the internationally respected judge and author, Senor Juan Llamas. Gloriosa carries Bocado lineage, top and bottom. Her gray sire was imported from Spain, bred by Fransisco (Paco) Lazo Diaz (see our stallion page).  Her dam (Gloriosa USA) pedigree includes Destinado XXIII, Bilbaino III, and Nevado III.  Also, includes Xenophon (the sire of Teodoro) who was a son of Bizarro V.

HADA G – 2001 gray PRE mare (Entendido XXIII x Encantada D).  She is Cria Caballar approved from breeding. Great things come in small packages!  Hada is a quick study, and currently in training under saddle. Short coupled and athletic we expect her to mature 15.2h. We believe she will continue the tradition of producing performance horses for many years to come.  Her dam is listed above and her sire is listed on our stallion page.

SOLD Hermosa - Bay 1993 PSP mare (Despierto x Botadora IV) - One of our original Andalusian foundation mares, we’ve owned her since a weanling.   She consistently produces offspring with exceptional movement, especially suited for the competitive dressage arena.  She stands 15.3h although she gives the appearance of being taller.  Hermosa was my riding mare, shown open dressage (training level) and Hunt Seat Pleasure for two years prior to becoming a broodmare.  Everywhere she goes, people love this mare, she’s a real attention getter.  Excellent, correct, straight movement.  She could easily resume a riding career. Hermosa has no history of injuries or health problems.  She has excellent manners and is a super mother.  She has produced bay, chestnut and rose gray - being bred to bay and gray stallions.  Sire is the black, multi-IALHA National Champion stallion, Despierto, with too numerous wins to list (and sire of multiple champions himself).  Her dam was rose gray mare imported from Spain.  Hermosa has a Feb 2005 colt at her side.  She will be “open” selling alone or with 2005 colt.

SOLD  Iana G - Bay 2002 PSP mare (Entendido XXIII x Hermosa).  Bred and raised by our farm, she is full sister to Galena G, and expected to reach 15.3h minimum. She is the 2004 IALHA National Champion PSP 2 & Under filly.  She will mature similar to her dam, being almost a carbon copy (Iana is almost as tall as her dam now).  Iana has an exceptionally sweet temperament, and she loves attention. She has good gaits, suitable for a variety of performance disciplines.  She has good manners with rudimentary ground work and is ready to start under saddle.

Photo coming soon KARMA G – 2004 bay PRE filly (Teodoro x Celina 1/VIII)  Cria Caballar inscribed.  We are excited to watch her grow and develop these next years. Sire is bay, National Champion himself and producer of multiple national champions.  Dam is black mare, imported from Spain, bred by Yeguada Marques de Vehilla (know for their color breeding program aimed toward dressage).
